International Ministries Update in Africa & the Netherlands – May 2024
This note is from Adriaan and his wife Marina and their ministry team members serving in Africa. Please keep them in prayer as well as others in the trucking community and those traveling over the many miles of highways in Africa. Pray specifically and often.
“Dear Truckers and Friends,
When you pass the Briddel/Pomona on the R23 (GP) please make an effort as a believer in the good news to visit the Briddel truck stop where you will find drivers who would welcome a word of encouragement and appreciation for what they do. Share your testimony and a prayer for the road ahead as they may have been away from home for quite some time and need some support because their families are far away. They may long for some fellowship. Also, visit the management and encourage the employees while you are there.”
Praise the Lord! Igor was able to approach three truck stops with the offer of putting the Highway News magazine out for drivers to pick up. Two of those three are willing to receive them each month. He is also talking to the management at one of those places to get permission to use a space for a service or devotional time. God is working in this area. Continue to pray for favor as Igor ministers to drivers he meets.
