International Ministry Updates
From: Adriaan Fourie
Dear truckers and friends: Have you heard of or met the 30-year-old HendrickChebanga from Hammanskraal who has had a passion for building model cards since he was 4 years old? What a character with a broad smile! His work is appreciated worldwide. Many people and businesses have contracted with him for true-life replica models of their private or transport company vehicles. Across Africa and in England, his work has made an impression. This man is an example of someone who has taken his God-given gift and turned it into a successful business through which he can provide for his family. This passion and endurance has resulted in a worldwide respect and admiration of his art and work. In the same manner, Joseph in the Bible, Genesis 41, had a gift of interpreting dreams and as such was able to interpret Pharoah’s dream on request. Using this gift, he gave God honor and was used for His glory as Joseph stated in verse 16, “It is not in me; God will give Pharoah an answer of peace.” In serving with this gift, Joseph received respect from the ruler. Therefore, let us take our God-given gift and use them where we are for the glory of God. There are many testimonies of believers who have shared their passions, selfless to those around them, and received respect in turn.
Dr. Norbert from TFC Global Tanzania was able to host our Director of African Ministries, Adriaan, recently. This photo is at the bookstore that provides resources for the various ministries that Norbert and Friends Mission manages. Dr. Norbert does a great job of oversight of several teams who support and care for the trucking community in Kenya, Mwanza, and Burundi, among other locations and border crossings. Pray for continued wisdom for both Adriaan and Dr. Norbert.
