One Mission. Many Doors.
“Pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ.”
Colossians 4:3 (NIV)
God often opens doors in places most people pass without a second thought—a truck stop, a training room, a conversation beside a rig, or a quiet moment when someone simply needs to know they are not alone. Each door looks different, but the mission remains the same: to bring the hope of Christ to the people who keep our world moving. One Mission. Many Doors.
Across TFC Global, that mission takes shape in many ways: through ministry locations that offer a place of welcome, chaplains who build trusted relationships, training that equips others to serve, partnerships that extend our reach, and supporters who make it all possible. Every door is different, but each one creates an opportunity to meet people where they are and share the hope of Christ.
Transportation ministry has never been limited to one building, one community, or one way of serving. The people we serve are always moving, so the ministry must be ready to meet them in many different places. Sometimes the open door is a conversation at a ministry location. Sometimes it is a relationship with a transportation company, a connection through a church, an invitation to serve in a new community, or an opportunity to equip someone who feels called to this work.
What connects all of these doors is a willingness to be present. TFC Global creates space for people to be seen, heard, prayed for, and reminded that they are not alone. The setting may change, but the purpose does not: to build relationships and bring Christ-centered care to the transportation community.
No single part of TFC Global carries the mission alone. Ministry locations provide consistent places of welcome and connection. Chaplains offer personal care in moments of need. Training prepares people to serve wisely and compassionately. Ministry partners help us enter communities and workplaces we could not reach on our own. Donors and prayer partners provide the foundation that keeps the work moving forward.
These are not separate missions. They are different doors into the same mission. Each relationship, resource, location, and act of service strengthens the whole. Together, they allow TFC Global to respond to the needs of transportation professionals and their families in ways that are both personal and lasting.
There are many ways to take part. You may pray for the people and ministries serving on the front lines. You may give so that existing work remains strong and new opportunities can be pursued. You may introduce TFC Global to a church, company, or individual who shares this heart for the transportation community. Or you may simply share the story so that someone else discovers a door God is inviting them to walk through.
Would you take a few minutes this month to pray for the mission as a whole?
- Pray for the transportation professionals and families who need hope, care, and meaningful connection.
- Pray for every TFC Global ministry location, chaplain, volunteer, and partner serving faithfully.
- Pray for wisdom to recognize which new doors God is opening and the courage to respond.
- Pray for the relationships, resources, and support needed to strengthen and expand the mission.
We do not always know what the next open door will look like. It may lead to one person, a new partnership, a stronger ministry location, or an opportunity to serve an entire community. What we do know is that TFC Global will continue bringing Christ-centered care to the people who keep our world moving—wherever God opens the way.
Thank you for helping make that presence possible.
